CRACKERS SALAMY COOKIES

 
CRACKERS SALAMI COOKIES

Ingredients:
2 lb bag of animal crackers
25fl oz water( in my case 2 X16.9 fl oz water bottles = 2X500 ml water bottles from whom I removed a third of water in each bottle)
2 cup sugar (or less)

4-6 tbsp cocoa
3 butter sticks at room temperature
vanilla extract
walnuts, almonds ( I roast them before), coconut or other nuts, soft candies, dry fruits  you might like ( I did not use this) in total 3-4 cups of them
 
with my hand or with a rolling pin I brooked the
crackers straight in the bag
I poured one cup of sugar and
 vanilla extract in each water bottle 



shake to dissolve the sugar
pour the sweet water and mix in
the broken crackers by hand




ad the nuts (soft candies, coconut,
 dry fruits if you want them)
 and cocoa and mix again by hand
add butter sticks and mix again my hand



it is looking like this
 
start shaping in baguette, wrapping them in the plastic wrap an roll on the table to give it a salami shape, unroll from the wrap, roll trough almonds (or coconut if you like) and re wrap in a new clean plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours before cutting.
